Teaching
I am a lecturer in the
Department of Information Technology at
NUI Galway since 2002 and
currently teaching
- Medical Informatics I, II and III (CT108, CT254, CT360) as well as Real-Time Systems (CT420)
to undergraduate students and
- Operating Systems & Computer Architecture (CT516, CT863) to postgraduate classes.
I am also involved in the
NUIG/Regis M.Sc. in Software Engineering & Database Technologies.
Research
I am a research member of both
MIR and
PEL, my research interests include
- Deeply embedded systems and their applications
- Biomedical devices and biosignal processing
- Network security
