Teaching
I am a lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at NUI Galway since 2002 and currently teaching

• Medical Informatics I, II and III (CT108, CT254, CT360) as well as Real-Time Systems (CT420) to undergraduate students and
• Operating Systems & Computer Architecture (CT516, CT863) to postgraduate classes.

I am also involved in the NUIG/Regis M.Sc. in Software Engineering & Database Technologies.

Research
I am a research member of both MIR and PEL, my research interests include

• Deeply embedded systems and their applications
• Biomedical devices and biosignal processing
• Network security
