Dr. Michael Schukat

| Dr. Michael Schukat received a Diploma in Computer Science and worked as a junior lecturer and
researcher at the University of Hildesheim, Germany. He has reviously worked as a technical
consultant with Fa. Medkom in Bad Salzdetfurth, Germany, and as an embedded systems design
engineer with Siemens-VDO AG in Badenhausen, Germany and with Eurologic Systems Ltd. in Dublin, Ireland. He has been a lecturer at NUI Galway since 2002. His research interests include
embedded systems and their applications, RTOS architectures, software engineering for embedded
systems, computer networking and wireless technologies and biosignal processing. |
